Audi R8 Huracan Engine mounts – Upgraded

Finally, Upgraded engine mounts that don’t turn your Street (race) car into a “race car”.

After many years of development within the Lamborghini and Audi R8 platform, PR has seen the highs and lows of the driveline and everything surrounding it. With multiple Engine mount failures seen on either high mileage and/or high horsepower applications and only having an OEM option to turn to it was time to design and manufacture a pair of engine mounts that would be fit for purpose.

OE Manufacturers do not need to worry about supporting and engine that produces 1300-3000whp with constant torque reductions during shifts at wide open throttle and re-introduction of large torque hits, it is only a matter of time that the OEM mounts would fail.

The PR upgraded Engine mounts are purpose designed, especially for high torque and race applications. To reliably support this, the vibration isolation method is different from OEM and does allow a slight amount of noticeable vibration at idle speeds of around 800rpm. Anything over 1000rpm the harmonic frequency changes and no additional vibration can be noticed by the driver.

Considering these upgraded mounts are do the job of holding 2000+whp without failure, we class this as an absolute win!
