Ford definitely got it right with the 335 Miami, factory supercharged 5.0L which was built for boost, however due to driveline warranty concerns the engineers limited the throttle to 60 degrees compared to the normal 82 degrees of throttle opening on most other cars, so we start by allowing that throttle to open completely, we then optimise the spark, boost and fuelling maps to take advantage of the factory overboost function allowing it to be used at all times rather than just under certain conditions

STAGE 2 – 420rwkw
Our Stage 2 Package addresses the need for an intercooler, the 335 comes standard with a heat sink in the plenum, once this gets hot (pretty much straight away) it is extremely hard to cool, so in turn stays hot for hours, it is not un common to see intake air charge temps of 80+ degrees with this, so we add the KPM Intercooler kit, this adds a large water to air cooling system which will maintain air charge temps to protect your pride and joy! Now that we have fitted this intercooler we can overdrive the supercharger to get some more power and torque out of it.

STAGE 3 – 460rwkw
Now we complete everything from stage 2 but add some ceramic coated extractors and a cat-back exhaust to help the engine to breathe, and a twin in tank fuel pump setup ready to run e85 and make the most out of the factory supercharger, we have seen upwards of 470rwkw from this setup!
