The PR Elixir Drop-In Fuel Pump Kit is a complete high-flow fuel pump solution developed specifically for the Nissan R35 GT-R.

Designed as a direct replacement for the factory in-tank fuel pump assembly, the kit provides the enormous fuel-flow capability of the Elixir brushless pump range in a purpose-built R35 package, eliminating the need to fabricate or adapt a universal pump installation.

At Precision Racing, we have personally used a single Elixir 1380 to support over 2,000whp on E85 at approximately 100psi fuel pressure, making this a proven fuel system solution for serious high-powered R35 GT-R applications.

High Flow Without the Multi-Pump Compromise

Traditional high-horsepower R35 fuel systems often rely on multiple conventional in-tank pumps to achieve the required fuel volume. This increases current draw, wiring requirements and heat being transferred into the fuel. The Elixir 1380 achieves substantially greater fuel delivery from a single brushless pump. Compared with a typical triple Walbro 525 arrangement, the Elixir 1380 offers:

• 600+whp additional fuel-flow capability
• Lower total current draw than three Walbro 525 pumps
• Reduced heat transfer into the fuel
• One high-output brushless pump replacing multiple conventional pumps
• PWM variable-speed operation
• Reduced wiring and fuel system complexity
• Excellent low-load operation while retaining 2,000+whp fuel capability

Variable-Speed Brushless Control

The supplied proprietary Elixir controller provides PWM variable pump-speed control, allowing fuel pump output to be matched to engine demand rather than operating at maximum speed continuously. At low load and low pump duty, we typically see less than 10 amps current draw, increasing to approximately 60 amps at full load in our 2,000+whp E85 applications. This reduces unnecessary electrical load and fuel heating during normal street driving while providing the fuel volume required when the engine is under full boost.
