G4X Plug-In ECUs offer the latest in engine management technology, designed to easily maximise the potential of your car.

This ECU fits neatly inside the factory OEM enclosure. Installation of the processing unit is simple, with no alteration of the factory wiring loom required for the models listed below.

Supported Models

2007–2014 WRX and WRX STI – GR / GV / GH / GE chassis codes (JDM / AUDM / SADM / EURO markets) with turbocharged EJ20 or EJ25 engines.
2008–2010 USDM models with the common international Denso ECU pinout.
2015–2021 WRX STI – VAB / VAF chassis codes (JDM / AUDM / SADM / EURO markets) with turbocharged EJ20 or EJ25 engines.

Note: Refer to the supported models document for detailed compatibility.
2011 and later USDM models are supported by the WRX11 USDM ECU.

Important Notes

Check that your connector matches the header shown in the product photo before purchasing.
Manual transmission models only.
Air temperature sensor is highly recommended.
Most factory features are supported, including DCCD, hill start assist, SI-Drive, cruise control, cam control and ABS.
The security or immobiliser lamp may remain illuminated on some vehicles.

This Plug-In ECU features a new 4-pin powered CAN connector and cannot use the old CANPCB cable.
Use the CANJST4 (Link PN 101-0198) cable for connecting CAN devices.
This new 4-pin connector provides both CAN communication and a protected 12V power and ground supply, safeguarded by a self-resetting fuse rated at 3A continuous.
