Description

Link ECU G5 Plugin Toyota GT86 LHD – 241-4200

The Link G5 GT86 Plug-In ECU is a standalone, plug-and-play replacement for the factory ECU.
It plugs straight into the original wiring loom with no adapter harness required and includes a sample map to give you a tuning head start.
The GT86 G5 Plug-In runs the same powerful microcontroller and firmware as the G5 Voodoo Pro.

Designed for the 2.0L 4U-GSE / FA20 H4 engine, supporting both manual and automatic transmissions.

Models Supported

Toyota 86 (ZN6) – 2012 to 2021
Toyota GT86 (ZN6) – 2012 to 2021
Subaru BRZ (ZC6) – 2012 to 2020
Scion FR-S – 2013 to 2016

Notes

Due to the tight nature of the factory ECU location, the mounting method differs between left-hand and right-hand drive vehicles.
This listing is for left-hand drive (LHD) vehicles.
A right-hand drive (RHD) version is available under part number 241-4000.

Models from 2017 and newer differ slightly from earlier cars and will not operate with the sample maps supplied in PCLink or standard plug-in ECU hardware.

2017+ engines have a Hall-effect crank sensor instead of a reluctor. The Trigger 1 Type must be changed from Reluctor to Optical/Hall, and Trigger 1 Pull-up set to ON.
They also use a 4-pin DI fuel-pressure sensor instead of a 3-pin version. This requires an 8.2 kΩ pull-up resistor wired between C7 (An Volt 4) and 5 V.
Change the DI fuel-pressure source from An Volt 3 to An Volt 4, and adjust the calibration to 0 kPa = 4.06 V and 30 000 kPa = 0.46 V.
