Dynotech Series II 4WD Chassis Dyno Hire Sydney

Precision Racing offers hire access to the Dynotech Series II 4WD chassis dynamometer – a synchronised front-and-rear roller dyno built by DynoDynamics, who have been manufacturing chassis and engine dynos in Australia for over 40 years. It suits 4WD, AWD, FWD and RWD cars and light commercials, from factory-spec diagnostic work through to serious performance calibration.

The front and rear beds run under synchronised control, so both axles are loaded together and driveline speed differences don’t corrupt the result. Load comes from electromagnetic retarders rather than inertia alone, which means you can hold a vehicle at any RPM and throttle position for as long as the tune requires. Steady-state, sweep and road-load simulation all sit within the same software, and bed movement is handled by a CAN-based computer-controlled system for fast, accurate setup between vehicles.

Full bidirectional ECU and OBDII communication means factory and aftermarket ECU data streams live alongside dyno channels, so fuel trims, timing, knock and boost are all visible on the same screen as power and torque. Every run is graphed in real time and stored automatically, with USB backup, so back-to-back comparisons are straightforward.

Dynotech software and firmware (v9.7) on a dedicated laptop, AFR and MAP (vacuum/pressure) modules, automatic weather station for live power correction, real-time graphing with automatic data storage and USB backup. Vehicle restraint is covered with a traction control bar, straps and ratchets, wheel chocks, tie-downs and eye bolts. Reports can be branded for your own workshop if you’re hiring on behalf of customers.
