Designed for large-frame turbos, the Funk Motorsport turbo blanket uses a robust 4-layer construction for up to three times more thermal protection than standard options. It’s the only turbo blanket that can be removed and refitted during turbo servicing—ideal for those who want performance with convenience.
By insulating the turbo’s hot side, this blanket keeps exhaust gases hotter and flowing faster, leading to improved spool-up and throttle response. It also helps lower under-bonnet temps, protecting nearby oil and coolant lines and preventing heat soak into intake pipework. The result: higher, more consistent power and increased reliability for critical engine components.
Tested to handle extreme temperatures, the Funk Motorsport blanket features fireproof, premium materials for long-term use. Some smoke during the first few heat cycles is normal and will disappear. Always check for oil or fuel leaks before use, as the blanket itself is not flammable but can ignite spilled fluids.
