Ford Falcon ZF6HP26 Service kit

Do you want to save yourself some money? Get involved with maintaining your car yourself? Then why not service your transmission yourself? Using the same high quality components we would if we were servicing it for you.

The ZF6hp26 is actually a really good transmission for its application, however Ford have recommended that it’s a “sealed for life” unit. This may be the case for the average user but for most of us, this is far from true. We recommend servicing your ZF every 10,000kms (Spirited) – 20,000kms (Grandma) depending on use. If your making big power or the car is used for any track event this can be much sooner (Drags, Roll Racing, Powercruise, Circuit).

Your Fluid deteriorates over time from heat cycling, friction material wear and bushing wear, all of this combined reduces your fluid’s ability to correctly lubricate, protect and maintain the correct pressures inside your trans. We have used and recommended Motul ATF6 for years, this is tried and tested in stock falcons all the way up to our 1200hp ZF6 cars!

This service kit is to suit BF to FG 6cyl, 6cyl Turbo and V8 Falcons as well as FGX 6cyl turbo and V8 Falcons (not 6cyl non turbo), Also Ford Territory. It includes 8L of Motul Fluid, a Pan filter and a rubber pan gasket for a perfect and easy seal!

If you have left your trans service a little too long and would like to complete a fluid flush, then add the ‘double the fluid’ option to your order.
