When only the best will do, our Titanium nut and Stainless Steel stud kit is required to secure your turbo manifold to your cylinder head.

It is common for your factory manifold bolts to come loose over time from the constant heat cycling of the aluminium cylinder head and not to mention all the weight hanging from them. The stud and nut combination provides a more even clamping force as well as being longer providing more contact with the threads, because of this we have found them to stay tighter for longer.

Apply anti-seize to threads, fit the studs to the cylinder head until they bottom out in the thread, tighten the nuts while cold, then heat cycle the engine and re-tighten all the nuts while hot. We have found this method to ensure they stay tighter for longer, however its still recommended to periodically check the nuts tension to avoid a leak.
