After the world market of upgraded, power enhanced Lamborghini Huracan and Audi R8, we have found the weak points within the DL800 factory transmission Whilst these 7 speed dual clutch transmissions seem to be extremely strong from factory, supporting over 1000whp with the correct torque reductions and tuning is amazing to say the least. However, whilst the demand for horsepower and the ease of obtaining it becomes higher and higher, the transmission was never going to cope with the power these boosted V10’s are capable of.

“PPG” Pfitzner Performance gearboxes had their work set out for them when designing a gear set which would be manufactured to hold over 2000whp, would fit within the factory DL800 casing, and result in the driver to be none the wiser when driving the car. One of the best gear set manufactures in the world, completely designed and manufactured in their South Australia facility, where quality control, after sales support and communication is key.
